The 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT is a pretty little pickup to maintain. The engine air filter is very easy to remove, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. Checking the fuses is also easy, as the fuse cover is conveniently located in the engine bay. Changing the oil is easier due to the easy to access oil drain plug.

However, there are a few more difficult aspects to maintaining the 2008 Ford Explorer Sport Trac XLT. The spare tire is located beneath he vehicle. You will have to lower it, which requires a few more extra steps than normal. To connect the Bluetooth, you will have to use the control buttons on the steering wheel to prompt the electronic display. Accessing the headlights requires the removal of multiple bolts, some of which can be difficult to access.
