Consumer Review Video - 2008 Saturn Vue Red Line 3.6L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2008 Vue

The 2008 Saturn Vue Red Line is a moderately easy car to maintain but does have its share of lengthy repair procedures. For instance, to access the headlights the entire bulb housing will need to be removed, requiring the removal of multiple fasteners and panels. The cabin air filter will need the entire glove box housing to be disengaged, which can be a problem. The engine air filter also has multiple parts that need to be disconnected before the filter can be reached.

The 2008 Saturn Vue Red Line does have many high points. The spare tire and jack kit can be reliably found in the trunk and are easy to remove. The engine coolant reservoir is easy to find in the engine bay and all of its parts have very open access. The fuse boxes have covers that are hassle-free to remove, and both of them come with a fuse puller for convenience.
