The 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid is rather difficult to maintain. To access the headlights on the passenger side, you will need to remove the windshield washer fluid reservoir. To access the components of the jack kit you will need to remove a few panels, which is a convoluted set-up. You’ll have to lower the glove box in order to access the cabin air filter, so you’ll need some tools to finish the job. It would have been much easier if there were a panel designated for access.

Not everything is difficult on the 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. Removing the tail lights only requires removing one small cover. The drain plug is also easily accessible beneath the vehicle, making an oil change that much easier. The wiper blades are also easy to replace on this car. Other models will require the use of tools in order to change these blades.
