The 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5 is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for those experienced in vehicle maintenance. Changing the front wiper blade is no problem. Other models will require the use of tools for changing your blades. The headlight is easy to access and change with reliability, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. Changing the engine air filter is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage.

Some things are more difficult to repair on the 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5. You will have to lower it from under the vehicle for access to it. The lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle and be difficult to turn. Changing the fog light can be difficult, as you will have to peel down a panel, and remove some bolts, for access to the bulb. These steps can be a problem. You will have to remove torx bolts in order to access the tail light housing. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.
