The 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman is a moderately difficult vehicle to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for those experienced in vehicle maintenance. You will need to remove many different types of bolts for access to the engine air filter. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair. The battery is harder to remove than usual, as you will have to remove a panel first. Checking the brake fluid reservoir with reliability can be a problem, as it is not overly visible.

Some things are easier on the 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman. Changing the headlight bulb with reliability is easy, as you only have to reach behind the housing, and remove one easy to remove cover, for access to the assembly. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay.
