The 2009 Toyota Camry LE is a moderately easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the experienced car owner. Accessing the engine air filter is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for reliable access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. You only have to reach behind the bulb housing for access to the headlight bulb. Other models make this access more difficult. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of this vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.
Some things are tougher to maintain on the 2009 Toyota Camry LE. In order to access the fog light, you will have to reach through the wheel well lining first. This can be tough, as the lining can grow rigid and tight to the vehicle over time. Checking the engine coolant level can be difficult, as the maximum and minimum level markers are located deep in the engine bay. This makes these markers not very visible. To remove the battery, you will have to remove a large panel first. An extra step you won’t have to complete on other models, which will require the use of other tools as well.
