The 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for even the average vehicle owner. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay.

Some things are problematic on the 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt LT. You will have to completely remove the headlight housing, then make a tough reach in order to access the fog light. Changing the cabin air filter will require you to lower the glove box first. This would have been easier if there were an access panel instead. You will need more tools than usual to access the center brake light bulb.
