Consumer Review Video - 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE 4.0L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2010 Pathfinder

The 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain. The brake fluid reservoir has unobstructed access that will allow you to reliably monitor the fluid level. Changing most of the headlights shouldn’t be a problem as no tools nor parts removals will be required to do so. The engine air filter can be changed with ease as the housing disengages with little hassle.

However, the 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE does have its challenging downsides. A panel from underneath the vehicle will need to be removed for access to the oil filter, which will impede on an oil change. Accessing the fog light may be a problem as you must disengage and pry back the wheel well lining first. The position of the spare tire underneath the vehicle may not allow for reliable access if it becomes rusted to the undercarriage.
