The 2011 Ford Taurus SEL is a somewhat easy car to maintain. You’ll be able to monitor the power steering reservoir with reliability on account of the open access to both the level markers and the cap. Replacing the battery shouldn’t be a problem thanks to the unobstructed access of the bracket and terminals. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together, which should make for quick removal and set-up in the event of a flat.
However, the 2011 Ford Taurus SEL does have some lengthy and convoluted procedures. The engine air filter housing must be removed to reach the headlights on the driver side, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes.
