Car Displayed: 2011 Nissan Xterra S 4.0L V6

The 2011 Nissan Xterra S is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, and is recommended to those experienced in vehicle maintenance. Changing the headlight is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. The engine air filter is easy to change on this vehicle, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners to access the filter with reliability. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools for changing your wiper blades.

Some things are more difficult on the 2011 Nissan Xterra S. You will need to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the fog light. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle and be difficult to peel back. To change the spare tire, you will have to lower it from under the vehicle first. The lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle. You will have to remove the entire housing for access to the reverse light. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.
