Consumer Review Video - 2012 Cadillac SRX Luxury 3.6L V6 FlexFuel

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2012 SRX

The 2012 Cadillac SRX Luxury is a more difficult SUV to maintain than most other similar models. To access the headlight on one side, you’ll have to remove the air filter housing. This is a more complicated step than on most other models. The tail light housing is difficult to remove for accessing the taillights. Other models will have a designated panel for taillight access. Connecting the Bluetooth is also difficult as there are many steps that are not easy to figure out.

There are some easier aspects to repairing the 2012 Cadillac SRX Luxury. The lower radiator hose is easily accessible by reaching through the engine bay, making a coolant change much easier. The clock is easy to set and has two buttons designated for setting the time. Accessing the fuses is easy as they are located beneath an easy to remove cover in the engine bay.
