Consumer Review Video - 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0L V6 FlexFuel

Car Displayed: 2012 Ford Fusion SEL 3.0L V6 FlexFuel

The 2012 Ford Fusion SEL is easy to maintain. The highbeam and front turn signal lights are accessible without the use of tools, allowing for reliable bulb changes. The transmission fluid dipstick has unobstructed access that will allow you to monitor the fluid level without hassle. Changing the engine air filter won’t be a problem as the air filter housing disengages without the use of tools.

However, the 2012 Ford Fusion SEL has a few downsides. The headlight and parking light will require either the wheel well lining or a panel from underneath the vehicle to be removed for access, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Replacing the battery may be a problem as the bracket is positioned deep in the engine bay and will be difficult to reach. The front wiper blades will prove tedious to change as a tool will be necessary to disengage the blades first.
