The 2012 Nissan Quest SV is a moderately difficult van to maintain, and is only recommended to someone experienced in vehicle maintenance. Connecting the Bluetooth can be a problem, as you will have to use voice prompts to reliably connect your phone. Other models make this easier. You will have to reach through the wheel well lining in order to access the fog light. This will require some tools and can be tough to do, as the lining can grow tight to the vehicle over time. To access the spare tire you will have to lower it from under the vehicle. The lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle and be difficult to turn.

Some things are less problematic on the 2012 Nissan Quest SV. Changing the headlight is easy to do, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. Checking the engine coolant fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools to complete, so it’s a nice touch to be able to change these blades with just your hands.
