Consumer Review Video - 2012 Toyota Corolla LE 1.8L 4 Cyl.

Car Displayed: 2012 Toyota Corolla LE 1.8L 4 Cyl.

The 2012 Toyota Corolla LE is a relatively easy car to maintain, and a good choice for someone experienced in vehicle maintenance. Changing the engine air filter is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The headlight is easy to change, as you only have to reach behind the housing for reliable access to the bulb. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.

Some things are more problematic on the 2012 Toyota Corolla LE. You will need to use a tool in order to remove the front wiper blade. Other models do not require the use of tools to complete this repair. To access the front turn signal, you will have to reach through the wheel well lining. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle and be difficult to peel back. The cabin air filter can be tough to access, as you will have to lower the glove box first. This would have been easier if there were designated panels in the rear of the glove box for access.
