Common problems and easy repairs on a 2013 Focus
The 2013 Ford Focus SE is a moderately easy car to repair. The components of the spare tire are accessible in the trunk. This keeps the spare tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Checking the oil level is easy to do on this car, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Changing the wiper blades is easy to do on this car. Other models will require the use of tools in order to change the blade, making this repair much easier in comparison.
There are some difficult aspects to repairing the 2013 Ford Focus SE. In order to replace the tail light, you will have to remove the entire housing first. You will have to remove a few torx bolts in order to take out the headlight housing. You may not have the tools necessary to remove these bolts. To drain the coolant, you will have to remove a panel beneath the vehicle for access to the petcock. You will have to crawl beneath the vehicle for access.
