Common problems and easy repairs on a 2014 Impala

The 2014 Chevrolet Impala LT is a relatively difficult car to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for someone experienced in vehicle maintenance. You will have to peel back a panel in order to access the petcock with reliability for a coolant drain. This will require a few tools, and for you to contend with gravity as you complete. Changing the front wiper blade can be a problem, as you will need to use a tool in order to remove the blade. Other models do not require the use of tools. Accessing the cabin air filter is difficult, as you will have to lower the glove box, and remove many screws in order to change the filter. This is more complicated to do than it is on other vehicles.

Some things are easier on the 2014 Chevrolet Impala LT. Changing the tail lights is easy to do, as you only have to peel back a lining to access either set of bulbs. These linings are easy to peel back. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Setting the time is easy to do, as there are clear steps in the electronic menu for changing the time.
