Consumer Review Video - 2015 Chevrolet Trax LTZ 1.4L 4 Cyl. Turbo

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2015 Trax

The 2015 Chevrolet Trax LTZ has a few difficult repairs, but is a relatively easy car to maintain and a good choice for the average car owner. Changing the headlight bulb is easy to do, as you only have to reach behind the housing for reliable access to the bulb. Connecting the Bluetooth is not a problem, as there are easy to follow steps in the electronic menu. Other models make it much more difficult to connect your phone. Checking the engine coolant fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay.

Some things are problematic on the 2015 Chevrolet Trax LTZ. To access the petcock for a coolant drain, you will have to pull down a large panel under the car. This will require a few tools you may not have readily available for a repair. The fog light access can be a problem, as you will have to remove a few torx bolts to reach through the bottom of the car for access to the bulb. This is not the most reliable access. You will have to take the bulb housing out of the car in order to access the tail lights. This will require the use of a few tools, and would have been much easier if there were a panel in the rear of the car for access.
