Car Displayed: 2015 Ford Escape SE 1.6L 4 Cyl. Turbo

The 2015 Ford Escape SE is a relatively easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the average car owner. Changing the headlight is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. Checking the oil level is easy, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. The engine coolant fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level with reliability.

Some things are more problematic on the 2015 Ford Escape SE. To access the petcock for a coolant drain, you will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle. This is a problem, as you will have to contend with gravity as you complete. Changing either the front or rear wiper blades will require a tool. Other models do not require the use of tools to replace these blades. Accessing the fog light can be a problem, as you will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the bulb. This lining is a problem, as it can grow tight to the vehicle over time.
