Consumer Review Video - 2016 Acura RDX 3.5L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 RDX

The 2016 Acura RDX is an easy vehicle to maintain. The engine air filter can be accessed without the use of tools, allowing for reliable bulb changes. The same goes for the cabin air filter, which only requires a few easy-to-remove panels to be pulled out of the glove box in order to reach it. Replacing the battery won’t be a problem as the bracket and terminals are right on top of the battery and can be reached without hassle.

However, the 2016 Acura RDX does have its downsides. The wheel well lining will need to be pried back in order to access the parking light, which will require tools and won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Tools will also be necessary to access all of the tail lights, which can make for complicated replacements. Reaching the transmission fluid dipstick may be a problem on account of the cramped access.
