Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 Transit-350 HD

The 2016 Ford Transit 350 HD XLT is a relatively easy van to maintain when compared to other similar models. Changing the headlight is easy, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. The brake fluid reservoir is quite visible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and replenish the fluid level with reliability. The engine coolant reservoir is also visible in the engine bay. Other models will make this reservoir’s level much harder to keep an eye on.

Some things are more problematic on the 2016 Ford Transit 350 HD XLT. Connecting the Bluetooth is difficult to do, as you will have to follow complicated voice prompts in order to connect your phone. You will have to lower the tire from under the vehicle in order to access. This can be a problem, as the lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle over time. Checking the transmission fluid level can be tough, as the dipstick is located under the vehicle and will require a tool to remove.
