The 2017 Chevrolet Express 2500 is a difficult van to maintain. You will need tools to disengage many fasteners that secure the headlight housings to the vehicle, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The tail lights have a similar set-up, which will also require the removal of a panel before the housing itself can be taken out. Reaching the spark plugs may be a problem as you’ll have to remove multiple panels and the engine cover itself from the cramped position in the cabin.

However, the 2017 Chevrolet Express 2500 does have its upsides. The engine coolant reservoir has unobstructed access that will let you reliably monitor the fluid level. The transmission fluid will also be easy to check as the dipstick is right in the front of the engine bay. Performing an oil change shouldn’t be a problem as both the drain plug and filter are readily accessible.
