Consumer Review Video - 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor 3.5L V6 Turbo Crew Cab Pickup

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2017 F-150

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is a somewhat difficult truck to maintain. All of the lights are LED and will require full housing replacements should any of them burn out, which won’t make for reliable changing procedures. Many tools will be necessary to remove multiple panels, covers, and the glove box for access to the cabin air filter, which will be a time-consuming process. Accessing the spare tire may be a problem, as it is stored underneath the vehicle and could potentially rust to the undercarriage.

However, the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor does have its upsides. Changing the engine air filter shouldn’t be a problem as the housing disengages without the use of tools. The battery has open access, allowing you to replace it with relative ease. The engine coolant reservoir is easy to reach, which will let you monitor the fluid level with reliability.
