Common problems and easy repairs on a 2017 86

The 2017 Toyota 86 is a relatively simple vehicle to maintain. The spare tire and jack kit are under the trunk lining. These components positioning will make it easy to pull them out. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth is a breeze. You only have to complete simple steps in the menu. The brake fluid reservoir is easily accessible in the engine bay. There won’t be anything in your path as you lean in to add fluid.

Some things are tougher on this 86. The parking light is difficult to access. You must use many tools to pry back the wheel well lining, which is tight to the vehicle. You will need a tool to remove the front wiper blade. Other models do not require the use of tools. The petcock is behind a panel underneath the vehicle. You will need another tool to reach the petcock and this will only give you limited access.
