Common problems and easy repairs on a 2018 Equinox
The 2018 Chevrolet Equinox LS is an easy car to maintain. The headlight is easily accessible by reaching behind the bulb housing, allowing for reliable changes when necessary. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth won’t be a problem, as the instructions on the touchscreen menu are very easy to follow. The fuse boxes are all easy to find and the one in the engine comes with a fuse puller to make your electrical troubleshooting more convenient.
However, the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox LS has its downsides. A large panel held on by more than 20 bolts needs to be removed from underneath the vehicle to access the petcock, which will be a very time-consuming process. The turn signal must also be accessed from underneath the vehicle and won’t allow for reliable changes. Changing the cabin air filter may be a problem, as you’ll have to disengage the glove box in order to reach it.
