Consumer Review Video - 2006 Lincoln Zephyr 3.0L V6

Car Displayed: 2006 Lincoln Zephyr 3.0L V6

The 2006 Lincoln Zephyr is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for someone capable of vehicle maintenance. Checking the transmission fluid level is no problem, as the fluid dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every model includes this dipstick. Changing the engine air filter is easy to do, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis.

Some things are more problematic on the 2006 Lincoln Zephyr. You will have to completely remove the air filter housing for access to some of the headlights. This is more convoluted than usual. To access the cabin air filter, you will have to lower the glove box for access. This would have been easier if there were designated panels in the rear of the glove box for access. You will have to remove a bolt, and peel down a panel, in order to access the fog light. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.
